We all struggle with something
I have days where I’m focused and on my game, and others that I piss away. My goal is to string as many good days together, so I’m moving forward, but not spiral downward when I have a bad one. To not let setbacks dictate my attitude. It’s tough, but it’s a mindset I’m adopting. Good or bad, your past experiences and decisions have brought you to your current circumstances. But your past does not dictate your future. What you do today, how you prepare your mind, how you invest in yourself, etc will determine who you become and the life you will build for yourself.
Choose to Believe
I have underachieved for most of my life. I could choose to wallow in that mediocrity, or I can say fuck that, and set a different course for my future. And it is a choice. You can continue to let your past define you, or you can choose to embrace the inner strength that I believe is inherent in all men. The key is your mind. If you think you’re a loser, you will never rise above. You will always have an excuse to keep you down. But if you choose to believe in yourself and work diligently toward becoming the man you aspire to be, you will win. It’s not a quick fix, but rather a journey. You just have to start taking control over your defeatist thoughts about yourself.
